Ballare Dancers’ Dream Fund

Why the Ballare Dancers’ Dream Fund was Created:

Unfortunately over the past few years a few of my dance families have encountered some financial hardships due to the economy.  I enjoy sharing my love and passion for dance with all my dancers and have done what I can to help these families so their child(ren) can continue to dance, but I would like to do more.  In June of 2013 we began a recital raffle to raise money to help with dancers’ tuition assistance.

Due to the success we have had from our local community with donations and our desire to have our scholarship program grow Ballare Dance Centre created the Ballare Dancers’ Dream Fund.  In October 2015 the Ballare Dancers’ Dream Fund successfully became a non-profit organization.

Donations Accepted:

The Ballare Dancers’ Dream Fund will accept donations in all forms of tickets, gift certificates, merchandise, cash donations and or any other items organizations or individuals wish to donate.

How Will The Ballare Dancers’ Dream Fund Give Back To The Community?:

During our June 2016 dance recital we will be holding a Christmas in June Toy Drive.  We will be collecting *NEW* toys in exchange for a reduced recital ticket price.  All of the toys donated will be divided and donated to different organizations such a Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, Ronald MacDonald House Charities and many other great organizations.  We want our dancers to give back to those who are not as fortune to have their health and be able to dance.

**All toys donated will be eligible for a tax deduction.**
