Our Studio Policies
- NO eating or chewing gum during class
- Please do not wear jewelry that will be in the way or become a distraction during dance class. Example: costume jewelry, necklaces or long earrings
- Dancers are to wear proper dance attire while in dance class. Baggy t-shirts, jeans and other school clothes are not allowed while in dance class.
- Female dancers are to wear pink ballet shoes and male dancers are to wear black ballet shoes, during ballet class.
- Dancers are to wear their hair up and pulled back away from their face. Please arrive to class with your hair in a ponytail, bun or braid.
- Tuition is due the first class of every month. Tuition received after the first class of the month will be considered late. A $15.00 late fee will be applied to that month’s tuition if it is received after the first class of the month. Please add this amount to your payment if your tuition is late.
- A $25.00 fee will be charged if a check made to Ballare Dance Centre is returned.
- A $25.00 fee will be charged for any credit card transactions that are declined.
- Monthly tuition will not be prorated for short months and will not be increase for longer months. Monthly tuition will not change from month to month.
- Due to our annual dance recital June tuition will be the ONLY month that is pro-rated. All dancers are required to pay the pro-rated June tuition.
- A $35.00 registration fee is due in September or during the month of enrollment for each dancer. A $60.00 family registration fee is due for a family of 2+ dancers.
- All costume money is due March 1st, with a signed recital participation contract.
- All open invoices must be paid by dress rehearsal the week of the dance recital in order for your dancer to participate in our annual dance recital. Recital tickers WILL NOT be sold to you if you have an open/ past due balance.
- If you miss a class due to an illness or vacation, dancers may take another regularly scheduled class as a make-up, with prior teacher approval.
- Ballare Dance Centre will be closed all legal holidays. Other vacations that will be honored are Thanksgiving, 2 weeks between Christmas and New Year’s, 1 week for spring break and Halloween. Full tuition for these months applies.
- Students are expected to be polite to fellow dancers as well as teachers. Students who do not follow the Ballare Dance Centre Policies or disrupt class will be asked to leave the dance studio. Tuition is nonrefundable.
- A written note is required 30 days in advance if your dancer is withdrawing from a dance class at Ballare. Your registration fee and that month’s tuition will not be refunded.
