Ballare Dance Centre Dress Code
Ballare Dance Centre has a dress code for every dance class!
Dancers are required to follow the dress code when attending dance class
**Dance Dress Code Will Be Enforced**
Some good places to purchase inexpensive dance clothes are Target, Walmart or Kohl's. Inexpensive tap, jazz and ballet shoes can be purchased at Target.
Ballare Dance Centre has an account with Discount Dance Supply as well as a suggestion / recommendation section for proper dance class attire. You can receive a discount with our studio code: TP56442
It is very important when you come to dance class that you are wearing the proper dance clothes. This is so that your teacher can see your body and your dance movements. Proper positioning and technique corrections cannot be made if you are covered by baggy or restricting clothes in dance class.
Ballare Dance Centre does not require dancers to wear black leotards and pink tights to every dance class as many dance schools do. My staff and I feel that dance is a form of expression and through your clothes you are continuing to express yourself. Choosing the colors and style of your dance clothes will be left up to you but we do ask that for the respect of the art you wear the proper clothes to dance class. Dancers are expected to wear appropriate clothing at all times. There are dancers of all ages around the studio and I expect all of my older dancers to be setting a good and proper example.
